This dance course will help you discover the joy of dance and help you feel happy, energized and uplifted. Each class in the course will consist of a fun warm-up section which is good for fitness and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. There will also be a short workout section utilizing dance moves to tone up the body. Then a series of steps and move and grooves will be demonstrated and taught which will be broken down and made easy to learn. These will range from everything from a grapevine to a salsa step to a cha cha cha to a disco groove to rock and roll. We will dance through the decades. The class will be dependent as well on what people particularly want to learn. You will learn to dance like no one is watching, feeling confident and self-assured to strut your stuff and feel at ease on the dance floor.
You will learn all kind of styles of dance and find out where they came from and feel you have achieved something at the end of each class of this course. My method is to present the moves in doing so give you a flavour of the vibe of the dance. Play the music so you don't over analyze the moves but feel the beat and rhythm and I can tell you that way you relax into the steps and they come. The classes on this course are pitched from total beginners to intermediate dancers. Those new to the dance world and those who are already dancers but wish to improve their fitness and flair. No knowledge or experience is needed.
