Are you a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager who is responsible for managing the performance of a team? If so, Managing for Performance is a two-part workshop for you. There are 2 x 1-hour workshops that take place over 2 weeks to allow you time to practice your skills between sessions. In Part 1 of the workshop, we will look at how to set measurable targets and objectives in order to give your team a clear focus. We will also look at the skill of giving ongoing feedback to your team on both their good and poor performance. In Part 2 we will look at how to provide ongoing on-the-spot coaching to your team members in order to improve their performance. We will also look at a structure for having a conversation with those team members whose performance is not getting better in spite of all your previous efforts. All modules will include elements of presentation, discussion and there are a number of exercises and case studies that you will complete as we go through the workshops. The sessions will be very informal and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions and practise using some of the skills that you have learned. No previous experience is required. Please Note- In order to attend Part 2, you must have completed Managing For Performance Part 1. No other previous experience is required.
Participants are encouraged to practise their skills between workshops.
I have been training in performance management in a wide variety of business for some 30 years with excellent results and feedback. I am a practical and knowledgeable learning and development professional who is dedicated to creating interventions that transform behaviour, help people grow, and assist organisations in getting the best from their teams. With private and public sector experience, I've trained and developed staff from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the UK. I enjoy engaging with staff at all levels from new joiners to senior managers and establish and maintain strong professional relationships among my clients. I have also supervised the performance of learning and development teams, on-site and remote.

About Me

I am a Master Practitioner of NLP and have been working in corporate training for over 30 years now. During that time, I have been lucky enough to work with people from all over the world both at home and abroad, adapting to the cultural needs and different approaches to learning. I have worked with companies in a variety of industries including aviation, rail and bus transportation, contact centres, Human Resources and retail.



Whether you are a Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager or Leader looking to get the most from your team, someone looking to improve their skills in order to improve in your current job or help set yourself up for a new job, or a front-line employee looking to deliver a great experience for your customers, I have a variety of training sessions that will help you. I really do believe that learning should be fun. That means that any training session with me will be interesting, engaging and will use a variety of techniques. For example, I might present some information, you might complete a questionnaire, we might have a discussion and you might have the opportunity to practise your skills in a case study. Most importantly, at the end of every training session, I want you to be able ‘to do something’ and not just ‘know about something’.
