Resilient teams share a culture of respect, honesty and trust. They are deeply committed to both business and team goals, work hard to support one another in achieving them and take a collective responsibility for both successes and failures. They embrace diversity, play to their strengths, and constructively challenge one another, as critical friends. Last but not least, they treat setbacks as learning opportunities, constantly looking for ways to improve, adapt and grow.

Wraw’s five pillars of resilience model provide a complete framework and structure from which to build these team behaviours, stretching (not straining) skills and abilities in a healthy high performing and sustainable way.

Drawing on detailed insights from the Wraw Team Report, the group can assess their collective level of resilience and social capital, exploring specific strategies and opportunities to strengthen these results.

At the end of the Resilient Teams programme you will be able to:
• Understand the benefits of creating a culture of wellbeing within a team
• Map yourself and your team on the pressure performance curve
• Recognise the early warning signs of possible strain within the team
• Explore and discuss key insights from the team report, e.g. shared purpose, adaptability, being open-minded and investing in strong relationships
• Identify specific tools and techniques to strengthen key pillars
• Understand how to leverage and optimise existing strengths
• Agree how to respond and support team members who may be struggling
• Build a Team Charter to proactively support healthy high performance

Pre-work: This is a closed team workshop and you will need a minimum of 5 team members to access your Workplace Resilience and Wellbeing Team Report. You will be sent an online link to complete your individual WRAW questionnaire and you will receive a copy of your individual snapshot report and your Resilient Teams Workbook prior to your workshop. The Team Report, comprising the anonymised group results, will be shared and discussed in the session with you.

I build trusting relationships and my role as a CIPD coach and a Prince’s Trust Mentor enables me to help people of all ages to achieve their professional goals. As a Senior Lecturer in Coaching and Leadership at the University of Derby and Nottingham Trent University, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge to help learning in higher education and organisations to improve their performance through developing their people. I'm a Workplace Resilience and Wellbeing Master Practitioner and professional facilitator and coach helping individuals, teams and organisations build resilience and improve wellbeing to achieve healthy high performance.
