What does communication mean to you? We each communicate and interpret messages in various ways and something simple, like crossing your arms at the wrong time, could make or break a meeting.
Understanding the different types of communication styles and identifying which you are best at will determine how well you achieve your outcomes. Once you are aware of your strong and not so strong points you can begin to understand how others perceive you and adjust your communication styles effectively across a diverse range of audiences, one on one or in a group.
This workshop will cover different learning styles: Slides based, 1 short video, learner discussions and at the end of the session a questionnaire will be given as a resource
By the end of this course your knowledge of the different ways to communicate and different communication styles, coupled together, can be used in a subtle manner to gain a positive outcome in most interactions
Human beings are complex creatures and understanding how to communicate effectively and with intent, will provide a confidence boost to professionals in the workplace. They will have a better understanding of why people communicate in a certain way and that understanding will provide them with the ability to adjust their communication strategy to achieve the best possible outcome
