Course Description

This dance course will help you discover the joy of dance and help you feel happy, energized and uplifted. Each class in the course will consist of a fun warm up section which is good for fitness and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. There will also be a short workout section utilizing dance moves to tone up the body. Then a series of steps and move and grooves will be demonstrated and taught which will be broken down and made easy to learn. These will range from everything from a grapevine to a salsa step to a cha cha cha to a disco groove to rock and roll. We will dance through the decades. It will came be made bespoke dependent as well on what people particularly want to learn, perhaps the people enquiring can type in or report in what they would like to focus in on. You will learn to dance like no one is watching feeling confident and self assured to strut your stuff and feel at ease on the dance floor. You will learn all kind of styles of dance and find out where they came from and feel you have achieved something at the end of each class of this 12 month course. My method is present the moves in doing so give you a flavor of the vibe of the dance of that decade. Play the music so you don't over analyze the moves but feel the beat and rhythm and I can tell you that way you relax into the steps and they come. The classes on this course are pitched at total beginners to intermediate dancers. Those new to the dance world and those already dancers who want to improve their fitness and flair . No knowledge or experience is needed.
I am looking to have 1 to 15 in a class for a course. So for example one lot of course attendees can do 3 times a week for 1 hour and then another group of course attendees can do another hour 3 times a week in the same week. So in effect multiple courses running at a time. Please Note. The Start date of this course is yet to be confirmed. I am trained by both the International dance teachers association and The British Ballet Organisation. I am also a graduate of accredited Acting and Musical Theatre School Guildford School of Acting. (GSA) I have taught both children and adults dance in both social and more formal institutional settings ranging from Stagecoach theatre school to Ceroc UK and Fun United dance holiday weekenders. These roles have ranged from taking novices through basic steps, building confidence as a dance assistant and coach to encouraging newcomers to take to the floor in my role as a “taxi dancer” where the position was to “pull up” and help people feel moved to venture onto the dance floor and find their feet for the first time. I can help create a conducive environment with my energy and enthusiasm for you to learn a fun fitness routine that can feature in your life and help you feelgood every week or every day.
No Adult theme and nothing that could be anything but a joyful experience.

Those who have taken classes with me say they feel my energy is infectious and it has allowed them to let go of any worries or inhibiting feelings they may have about stepping into the spotlight or expressing their own signature moves. By stepping aboard Suzanne’s Dance mobile I can help you gain greater mobility, simply get moving or go full throttle. You can arrive at your destination in your own time, at your own pace as a better dancer, feeling more freedom in your movement or just simply feeling better in yourself with some health busting moves. I can offer you a journey where you’ll discover or rediscover the joy of dance. free flowing, fun, rhythmic and great for fitness too. Taking simple steps my aim is to make it easy to follow and most importantly have fun! I will help you link up these moves into a short flowing routine.

Helping you dance from your heart and soul as well as your sole! So whether you want to dance like Fred Astaire or Ginger Rodgers and relive those dance hall days, get down like James Brown or shake your booty like Beyonce I can coach you and coax you onto the dance floor helping you feel free of any inhibitions , and dance like no one’s watching.
