Chess is a classic board game, dating back to around 3000 BC. It is very simple, but a lot of fun! The game is played on an 8x8 chequered board, essentially a chessboard. Each player starts with 12 pieces.
In the first session, I will start by teaching Chess basic history. I will then explain the Chessboard setup and how the pieces move. This will take most of this lesson to master. Then I will explain the Chess rules.
In the second session, I will teach how to play a game with me the teacher, or against each other in class.
In the third session, we will focus on strategy and game practice.
No experience or knowledge is needed for the game to join this class. By the end of all the sessions, the student should know how to play chess.
